Creepy Crawly? Not So Much...Just Crawling!

Danica started crawling one day after she turned 8 months old! Just thought I would let everyone know. She's been keeping me busy, but I hope to have a video up soon. :)

Ants in my Pants!

Dani has been keeping everyone busy...she has a very full schedule these days! *wink wink* Dani and I along with Grandma Myers took a bit of a road trip the other week. Dani and I were heading to Grammi Ide's house to meet up with her and Gma Myers was going to convention in Hunter. We drove out there on September 17th and on the 18th we left for Great Aunt Nancy and Great Uncle Tom's house near Silver Lake. The 19th we spent pretty much the whole day at the citywide garage sales in Lester Prairie. Dani made out like a bandit. Lots of cute clothes are coming her way! Yay! We ended up staying until that Monday (the 21st). We saw lots of family including...Nancy, Tom, Myles, Great Gma Fogarty, Kari, Missy, Sid, Steph, Pat, Brenda, Jessica, Felicia, Cadence and Junior. We also saw the Schauer's again...Patsy and her daughter and son-in-law. Good times were had by all! :)

Here she is early in the morning with Daddy in the nursery. Uncle Missy came in for a visit too.

This was all her Daddy's idea. I was innocently sitting in the living room waiting for Jeff to dress her for the day and this is what she looked like when she was plopped on my lap!

This was on our way to Silver Lake. We stopped at a "park" or we "parked" at a school. Hard to say!

She is 8 months old! (9/27/09)

Little piggies.

Peeking through the table.

Since then

Enjoying some Grandpa (and Grandma) time while Mom and Dad are getting ready to go out for Daddy's class reunion festivities in Parshall.

I'm just not sure about this thing...

Showing off her new outfit from Uncle Jon and Auntie Sara.

Playing with some of her favorite toys in her room. She LOVES books!

This picture was just too funny not to post. I have no idea what tickled her funny bone, but something obviously did!

She's got her composure back again.

Dani's new ride. Oh she's getting big! :)

Her 7 month "birthday". In this picture she is already wearing a 12 month sleeper. Good grief, it's hard to keep up with her! In this picture she is clapping along to Pat-A-Cake.

Playing ball in the living room with Daddy and Papa. Nevermind the look on Papa's face...he always looks at me like this when I take pictures!

We've got quite the little graham cracker monster on our hands. They are her new favorite snack and she can eat quite a lot of them.

Another favorite, playing on the deck. Dani loves to be outside, I cannot stress this enough. Whenever she is fussy, we can take her outside and she's all of a sudden a very happy baby. This winter is gonna be tough! We'll have to get some very warm clothes for her and us.

Coming back from the garden with our stash! Take note of my Puppy-Cat following us back. Oreo will actually take walks with you, just like a puppy...she's funny and especially likes going to the garden so she can roll around in the dirt and hide in the corn.

This is Dani trying to pull herself up on her rocking chair. It slides around too much so she hasn't actually accomplished it yet, but she still likes making attempts. She has pulled herself up on the arm of our glider on the deck. I couldn't believe it when she did it...wasn't ready!

Important Dates:

25 - Starting feeding herself regularly.

26 - Began clapping along to Pat-A-Cake.

28 - Pulled herself up on furniture for the first time.

I'm still not quite caught up with all the pictures, but things have been busy with harvest and all. My parents were here for a while to help with harvest and household stuff. My Mom was here for about three weeks and my Dad for about 2 weeks. When they left, everyone was sick with the flu except my Mom, not sure how she escaped it?! Mom helped clean up the basement and Dad helped with harvest and cleaned up our trees in the yard and organized a couple of our sheds. They kept busy!
