Pumpkin Patch Kid

Well, we finally made it to the Pumpkin Patch and Danica had a great time there.  We never did bring her last year.  Just didn't make sense to do it until she could walk, so here ya go!  Enjoy!

Okay, this picture was not taken at the Pumpkin Patch, but I forgot to put it on the last blog post.  Missy and Sid stayed with us over the weekend (10/22/10 - 10/24/10).  It was fun to have some company at our little house on the prairie.  :)

PBear at the entrance of the patch (10/23/10).

Found some punkins just her size!

Showing Daddy.

Navigating the hay bale maze...

Going...going...

Stuck!

Mommy and Danica going Hog Wild at Berry Acres!

Danica in her "pod".  They had a tractor pulling what appeared to be emptied farm chemical containers that were made into cars.  She thought it was great.

I mean, really GREAT!  She didn't want to get out and kept trying to get back in line and in the other cars, but this mama was not squishing herself back in for another go around.  Those things are not meant for long legged people!  LOL

PBear and Mommy.

Family pic.  Yes, Jeff has his eyes shut.  :)

Queen of the Hay Bales

Now she found a nice little place to hide.

This is the tractor ride.  We are not on it this time.

Found a friend to help her around the bales.  This girl (Madison) helped her all over the place...picked her up, lifted her, put her down, etc.  She had quite the workout, but it was very nice of her.  :)

Hay!

I filthy!

Playing Ketchup!

Still finding dandelions to pick in the yard.  Can't believe how our grass has stayed so green!  :)

Playing with the birdfeeder or more than likely trying to figure out what it is and how it works.  Just like Daddy.

Playing on the playsets in the yard.

Trying out the ErgoBaby with Mommy.  She thought it was great...made her giggle.  :)

Coming back in the house from a hard evening of playing outside.

Showing Daddy what buttons to push in the combine.

Showing off her new twirling skirt that Mommy won for her on an online giveaway!

Biking with Papa  :)

Her favorite - raw corn just at the gardens edge!

Our silly monkey!

Believe it or not, she really wanted me to put her in the mailbox.  Looks a bit different from last year, wouldn't ya say?

Trying on a new clippie.  It is a caterpillar!

Hair twirlings in the swing.  She's getting sleepy...

High steppin it in the field!

Letting Sid play with her toys.

Digging up potatoes with the boys.

I'm in charge!

Having a good time with Daddy on the lawn tractor.

Doesn't she look so innocent?

Keeping a close eye on somebody...

Cuddling with Carli's baby on our visit to Wyoming.

Her first "big horse" ride.  She was a little unsure.  :)

She also liked Carli's bike.

The playhouse was a huge hit!

With Daddy and his first antelope.

New hat!  New hat!  Thanks Carmen.  :)

New shirt!  New shirt!  Bad Daddy!  :(

Mommy finally brought up her cabbage patch kids and stroller.  I had to wash the stroller fabric so we used a dish towel in its place.  lol

I will hopefully get the next post up soon from our visit with Sid & Missy.  We all went to the pumpkin patch the other day and Danica had a blast!

Been a long time...

Obviously we've been home for a while now and I've got a lot of catching up to do on the blog, so here it goes.  Hope you can keep up!

Trying to encourage me to follow her back to the kitchen for snack time.  It's one of her favorite times!

Playing piano with Colin.  We celebrated Gene & Eva's 40th Anniversary on July 17th, so all the kids were home.

Danica, Gramma, Carli and Colin.  Gramma's leg was prime territory!

Danica, Daddy and Penny out for a bike ride.  :)

A P-Bear in her bike trailer.

A P-Bear out of her bike trailer...exchanging a snicker about something with Daddy.

This is NOT, I repeat NOT the recommended way to use a bike trailer.  Daddy should probably give the manual another once over before next time! LOL

1st Haircut!

Curiosity strikes...

How's it looking?

All done.

Eating a lot of cherries.  More like de-stemming a lot of cherries.  According to my Gma, you can de- anything.  :)

Playing in her new sand box with HOT PINK sand!  They were out of the regular sand that day...now we have a good way to tell if she is keeping the sand in the box like a good little girl.  This first attempt was a failure!  LOL

Doing much better this time.  :)

Some of her stash out drying on the line.

She's all in!  Notice the camo diaper.  She's starting to hunt at a very early age...hunting for the right toy that is.

We went to the ND State Fair on July 29th.  Here's a pic of Dani and Mommy posing as daisies.  She played in the large sandbox with Daddy for quite some time, but the pictures won't save when I rotate the image and it's really making me upset, so I'm not posting them until I figure out what's going on.  She had a good time at the fair and even got a little stuffed animal from a girl while I was in the bathroom changing her diaper.  This girl couldn't have been more than 8 years old, but she came rushing over to the changing table and said quite loudly "SHE IS SOOOOO CUTE"!  and then asked me a bunch of questions and left saying she wanted Danica to have her little white tiger toy because she had some other stuff that she won as well and didn't "need" it.  It was very nice of her.

Pooling it on the deck.

Mother henning my Katie Baby, which I suppose is now her, Katie Baby.
