Well, let's start from the top. Shortly after painting our toenails as in the last picture of my last post, Danica took it upon herself to do some body painting with a black pen. Here's your proof.
Continuing along her painting path, at least this time it was on paper. You can see the elusive PBear painting a flowerpot and flower.
Here we are celebrating St.Patricks Day...I think. It looks more like Danica just saw the "Gooby Monster", but at least she was sitting still. :)
This is also about the time that Danica has really started to enjoy dressing up like a Princess.
For you anti-girly-girl types out there. Fear not! She still wants to go fishing...badly! She's been asking for Papa and Grampa to take her out. So get your boats ready. :)

Easter 2011 Pics...
Finally some nice weather to play outside after many months of much snow cover, cold temps and wind (again). She was all over the place!
This was the look that she gave her Daddy one morning when she was apparently not ready to be photographed. The second picture was taken after Daddy asked her if she could smile a little, just for him. :)
I recently ordered some nightgowns to wear and they are even huge on me yet, but Danica insisted that she wear one...and it HAD to be the purple one. LOL Anyways, after a few adjustments she was able to wear the nightgown without tripping and was she ever pleased! I think she would've worn it all day!
Mother's Day 2011 - We went to the Roosevelt Park Zoo in Minot. Danica had such a good time looking at all the zoo animals. She was full of curiosity and loved posing for pictures in the wood cutouts!
We recently purchased a "big girl bed" for Dani and she spent her first night in it on May 5th and has been doing great ever since, even for naps, which was my biggest concern. So happy! :)
We've got quite the crop this year! A crop of tulips that is! Here's a photo of Daddy and Dani smelling the flowers.
As for other news...
Jeff is still anxiously awaiting getting a good start on seeding this year. I believe they have just over 100 acres seeded so far due to the fact we had quite a lot of snow to melt and it has been raining fairly regularly.
All the moisture has also taken it's toll on our county and township roads in the area. Lots of high water, flooding, damaged and/or closed roads and washed out culverts remain. Even the county highway (pavement) between Hwy 37 and Hwy 23 remains closed in the area of Makoti Lake. There's no place for the water to go, we'll just have to wait until it evaporates or is eventually soaked into the ground. Every year I've lived out here it has snowed like crazy and every year Jeff tells me how abnormal it is an how unlikely it is to happen again. I'm not buying it! lol
As far as our house plans go, we have picked a layout, but now we are working with Jeff's brother, Jon, to make some revisions for us. There was no basement stairway in the layout, and we are adding a bit to both sides of the house to make the master bed and bath a bit bigger. Here's a look at the original layout that we have been working from.
As for other considerations, we've started the process of getting trees planted and electricity on site. Little orange flags mark the spot where the house will someday be. I'm just so excited to get going on it, but all this strange weather has made us nervous about putting forth too much money right now. Want to make sure we have a crop first.
In my last post, I wrote that we are expecting another baby and as of now I am 29 weeks and 1 day along. The weeks are flying by, but I've been feeling pretty good. Just a bit low on energy and even the small things get me short of breath, but that's too be expected with my little squash making room for him/herself. That's right. We've chosen to keep the gender of the baby a mystery once again! No peeking for us. :) Danica is pretty excited about being a Big Sister. She says "Hi Baby" while looking at my belly, gives baby hugs, and most of the time is pretty sure she's having a brother, although occassionally, a sister. So we'll see. Here's my latest pregnancy picture taken at 26 weeks (so a few weeks ago already, sorry - it's the latest pic we've taken).
I think that's all for now. I'm going to go sit on the deck for a while now. It's 66 degrees here, practically the warmest it's been all spring, so I'm going to enjoy it.
