So I know it's been a while since the last post, but things have been crazy busy around home again. Here's some updates...
Danica has still been seeing the chiropractor on occasion and is now taking some probiotics to help her tummy. The last couple of days she has done really well, a lot less crying during the day, so we are hoping that did the trick and she isn't so uncomfortable anymore.
We had Danica's baptism at Plaza First Lutheran Church on March 29th and were very happy that so many friends and family could be there. Grandma and Grandpa Ide, Great Grandma Fogarty, Great Aunt Kari Fogarty, Great Uncle Jim Fogarty, Carissa Klabunde (sponsor) and family, Uncle Joel Myers (sponsor) and Heather Woods were all there. She did pretty good during the service so that was nice. Most of the pictures she has a pacifier in her mouth since she didn't care for the clothing change to get her in her outfit. :)
Grandma Ide has been staying with us since the baptism, which has been so NICE! She's been so helpful with Danica so that Jeff and I can have some free time to do the things we need to get done or just to take a break. She'll be leaving tomorrow to go back home.
Today we had a designer out to our house to give us an estimate on remodeling our kitchen. We are looking at brand new cabinets, flooring, countertops, windows and appliances. Not a small undertaking by any means! It all started with a new flooring gift from Jeff's parents for our wedding and when we thought about it, there were other things we wanted to change as well...so here we go! LOL
Tomorrow we are going to Minot for Danica's doctor appointment. So we should have some updated information on her height and weight. We've weighed her ourselves in a tub on a meat scale, but it's more of an estimate since she has her diaper and a onesie on. According to her tummy time mat, she's probably 23 inches long. That's 2 inches longer than when she was born.
On Wednesday we are hoping to go to Bismarck to look at some bedroom furniture Jeff found on BismanOnline.com It's a real nice looking mission oak set that includes a headboard, footboard, dresser and nightstand.
Thursday, after Jeff's Raub Ag meeting we are taking off for Minnesota to stay with my parents for a night before going to a wedding in Ipsanti on Friday afternoon. Then we'll head back up north to stay with my Aunt Phyllis for Easter in Stephen, MN. Lots of traveling coming up, hopefully it won't be too much for Dani. :)
Now for the pictures...
Testing out my tummy time mat

Boy I look small in Daddy's chair

Doesn't Uncle Joel look goofy? I look cute like normal! :)

Church was exhausting!

Foggy morning the day of my baptism, this pic was even taken after the church service

After my baptism we went to Ye Olde Malt Shoppe in Garrison for lunch. I had my photo taken with the Grandmas. Grandma Ide, Great Grandma Fogarty, Me and Grandma Myers. Too bad that Great Grandma Myers didn't feel good and didn't make it there.

Trying on my summery bucket hat. Looks like I have a little growing room.

This picture was taken right after I let Mommy and Grandma Ide make an impression in clay of my handprint. I was really good! :)

Fun to see the pictures of Danica in all her cute outfits!! I see she was showing how she REALLY feels about tummytime. :) Love that last picture with the little plaid shirt (dress?).

Krista, Jeff and Dani I had a wonderful time staying with you. It's nice to hear that Dani is getting over her tummy troubles. Travel safe, and see you on Thursday night. This is such a nice way to keep in touch and see all the pic's. Love Grandma Ide
